Novalja legendary nightlife makes it the social capitol of a summer in Croatia.
A lot of young people, mainly Europeans, frequent Novalja for the nocturnal nightlife. Some of the Croatia and maybe world's best clubs are located here. Finding them is not a problem. Representatives of the clubs are everywhere, passing out flyers at the beach and on the streets.

The club-goers are just as legendary. Novalja has cool dressers, cross-dressers, hipsters, hopsters, even hippies, who have yet to give up their turf first established some 40
years in the past. Walking down the streets of Novalja, one is struck by the thought that someone forgot to tell these people it's not Halloween or Mardi Gras.

      Then again, maybe Novalja is just an off-season combination of both.
Those on a budget be warned. Island Pag party can rip through one's wallet faster than a tequila shot hits the bloodstream. Crowds arrive before midnight and stay until 6 or so, at which time the die-hards head for the bars that are just opening before heading home at noon. Foret about seeing those people on the beach. Maybe when afternoon party starts on beach Zrce.

If you ever will visit any place anywhere without needing instructions on how to find boiling nightlife, then it is island Pag. You only need to leave one of the numerous pubs or discotheques.
The best will be to follow the mass of tourists passing through the streets, and automatically you will be pushed to a local that is "en vogue" in this very moment.
Around there are many teraces and restaurants, and small stands where they sell souvenirs until late night.

It's a good idea to have Novalja accommodations lined up in advance during the peak season months of July and particularly August. For those unable to cope with such things, Novalja has a tourist office. Otherwise, hit the streets and look for a "CH" (case del huespedes) on doorways. This contains the phone number of the owner.
