How to get to Novalja by ferry?
There are none direct boat or ferry connections to Novalja, but it's only 9 km from the ferry port Zigljen, that connects island Pag to the land. The other way to get to the island Pag is over the island Pag bridge. If you are traveling to Novalja along the coast it is better to take the ferry, and if you’re traveling on the motorway, exit in Zadar and cross the Pag bridge.
Catamaran Rijeka – Novalja
Catamaran connection Rijeka – Novalja is the best solution when traveling without a car. This way you can avoid the traffic jams on the road and start your Croatia holiday right on the catamaran. It sails every afternoon at 17:30 from Rijeka port to Novalja, and every morning at 06:00 from Novalja to Rijeka. The catamaran also stops in town Rab on the island Rab. The price of the one way ticket is 40 kn (5.8 €) and the trip lasts 2.5 hours.
There is no Rijeka Zadar or Zadar Rijeka ferry, but during the summer season a regular ferry line Rijeka Split. This way shortens your time on the road for 1.5 to 2 hours.
Zadar and Split are destinations for ferries arriving from Italy. Local buses connect Opatija to Rijeka and there are frequent intercity buses to Pula, Rovinj and Porec where you can catch ferries to Italy.

Ancona – Zadar Jadrolinija organizes ferry line from Italy - take the Zadar Ancona ferry. It operates all year round and it’s a night line, ferry Anke off cona to Zadar and ferry Zadar to Ancona t at 22:00, and arrives to the destination at 7:00. Have a good night’s sleep and wake up in Croatia! Zadar is only a 1 hour drive from Novalja!

Split - Ancona
Jadrolinija organizes ferry line from Italy - take the Split Ancona ferry. It operates all year round and it’s a night line, ferry Ancon to Split or Split to Ancona take off at 22:00, and arrives to the destination at 7:00. Have a good night’s sleep and wake up in Croatia! Jadrolinija offers ferry and catamaran lines all over
Croatian coast. The pages offer not only destination to destination

There are catamaran lines going from Rijeka tourist port in the center
of the town to all almost all Kvarner islands (Rab, Pag, Cres, Lošinj,

As of September 1st 2009 the ticketing office of Jadrolinija Rijeka is located
on the premises of the Passenger terminal Rijeka, Riječki lukobran bb
on the pier just go to the main port in the center and look towards the
sea.
