What kind of sailor are you?
Four types of sailors come to Opatija: boat owners who keep their craft permanently tied up in one of the Opatija marinas or moorings, sailors who bring their vessels with them on heterogeneous trailers, and those who hire boats in Opatija. And of course, Opatija is also visited by sailors who arrive at it from the sea.
ACI marina Opatija lies between Opatija and Ičići.
Open: All year round.
Berths:
The marina has 300 berths and 30 boat places on shore. All berths have water and power supply.
Facilities:
Reception, exchange office, restaurant, café, toilets and showers, laundry service, grocery store, nautical gear store, souvenir shop, repair shop, 15 t crane, parking lot. The nearest gas station is in Opatija harbor (2nm).
In the year 1999 ACI marina Opatija along with five other ACI marinas was awarded the "European Blue Flag", an environmental award, given to communities that make a special effort to keep their beaches and marinas clean and manage them with consideration for the local environment. The marina has been nominated for the same award in the year 2000.
Boat Approach:
From the sea the marina is easily identified by a breakwater. Entrance to the harbor is from the northeast. At the head of the breakwater there is a lighthouse (Fl R 3s 7m 3M), which can be used as a way point (45°18,9' N 14°17,8' E). Sea depth at the entrance to the marina is 7 m. Maximum speed in the marina is 2 knots
It lies in the very centre of Opatija, within Admiral Hotel.
Open: All year round.
Berths:
The marina has 160 berths and 40 boat places on land. All berths have water and power supply.
Facilities:
Reception, exchange office, all facilities in Admiral Hotel - restaurant, tavern, indoor swimming pool, sauna, massage, hairdresser and beauty parlour, garage. The gas station and Harbour Master's Office are 0.5 Nm from the marina.
Boat Approach:
From the sea the marina is easily identified by a breakwater and "cascade like" hotel Admiral above. Entrance to the harbor is from the northeast. At the head of the breakwater there is a lighthouse,). Sea depth at the entrance to the marina is 4 m. Maximum speed in the marina is 2 knots

Take a boat excursion of Opatija riviera. The tour takes you form Opatija, along the Opatija riviera to Mošćenička draga and back to Opatija. Take a glance of beautiful Opatija as it rises from the sea in all its splendour. Ičići marina will dazzel you will all the white sails shining in the sun. Ika will charm you with its small pictouresque houses and the beaches od Medveja and Mošćenička draga will tempt you to take out your camera or go for a swim.
The tours last 3 hours an they start at 10 am, 2 pm and 5 pm.

Fish picnic
Enjoy a full day on the sea. For a long time the islnad Krk was considered the biggest island in Croatia. Lately, sophisticated mesurements have shown that island Cres might be bigger in surface. Some, however think Krk and Cres are the same size. Maybe you can figure it out. Lunch and drinks with lunch are included. The Fish picnic tour is a whole day tour, you set off 9 am and you're back in Opatija at 6pm.
