TERMS & CONDITIONS

FENIKS respects the privacy of all its users and their data will not be given  to third parties or used for marketing purposes except with the prior approval of the same. FENIKS gathers only  necessary information about  customers required for the realization of the reservation. All customer information is strictly protected and accessible only to employees, when these data are necessary to perform the job. All employees of Feniks and the business partners are responsible for compliance with the principles of protection of privacy.

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT

Inquiries and reservations of accommodation can be done electronically. When booking, the passenger confirms that he is familiar with the General Terms of travel that had previously carefully studied, and that he fully accepts them. Thus, everything stated in the General Terms becomes  a legal obligation for both the guest and FENIKS. When making reservations a traveler is obligates to give all the required information in the procedure of booking. For reservation of the service it is necessary to pay deposit in the amount of 30%, and the remaining amount will be paid upon arrival to the apartment.

Note :
For payment by credit card - credit card is charged for the amount stated in HRK according to the average rate of HNB (Croatian National Bank) on the charge date. There might be differences between the currency exchange rate of HNB and the credit house of the guest.

SOJOURN TAX


Sojourn  tax is not included in the price, and the traveler is required to pay it on the day of arrival to the apartment when paying for accommodation. Sojourn  tax prescribed by the Law on the Sojourn Tax of the Republic of Croatia amounts from 2,00 to 7,00 KN per person per day for adults in the town Opatija. Teenagers from the age of 12 to 18th birthday  have a 50% discount on that amount, while children up to 12th birthday do not pay Sojourn tax. The final amount of the Sojourn  Tax for a specific reservation  depends on  the destination in the Republic of Croatia and travel period, and will be charged according to the General Terms  when making the final payment for  the Sojourn service.

ACCOMMODATION


Accommodation in the apartment usually is not possible before 13:00 hours on the day of arrival, and it usually has to be left  until 10:00 in the morninr on the final day of service. 
Arrivals after 20:00 hours should be announced in advance, unless otherwise agreed.
Pets can be allowed to stay in the apartment in individual cases, after it was aprooved by Feniks, with obligated  payment.

PRICES

Prices are published in Euros or in Croatian kuna for Croatian travelers. FENIKS reserves the right to alter the published price. To the  travelers who paid an advance for a specific reservation, FENIKS guarantees  the price of accommodation, stated in the calculation according to which the advance was paid. If the changes occur prior to the payment of the advance, the Phoenix is required to inform passengers about the changes of the price.  The Parties agree that FENIKS has the right to increase prices no later than 10 days prior to beginning of  the trip if there were changes in the agreed exchage of currency rate  after the confirmation of reservation. The traveler has the right to cancel the reservation if the price increase would  be more than 10%. In this case, the traveler  is entitled to a refund of the already paid amount without the right to compensation. If more visitors arrive to a booked accommodation than it is indicated on the travel documents (voucher), the service provider has the right to deny service to the  unannounced  passengers or accept all travelers with charge to the unannounced passengers on the spot.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Passengers are obliged to have valid personal travel documents. Invalid documents, which result in cancelation of the journey, do not produce any harmful consequences for FENIKS and because the omission of such passengers FENIKS suffered additional damage, the passenger is required to reimburse the same. If travel documents are lost or stolen during the journey, traveler himself bears the costs of issuance of new documents.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

The traveler gives personal information voluntarily. Personal data of passengers is required in the process of the realisation of the required services. The same will be used for further mutual communication.
FENIKS agrees not to take personal information of passengers out of the country or give to a third party, except for the purpose of realization of the required service.

CANCELLATION OF THE TRIP

If the passenger cancels the arrangement, of the total package price FENIKS holds:
• up to 31 days before arrival 10% of the price of the specific reservation
• 30 - 0 days before arrival 100% of the package price
• After departure 100% of the package price

DISCOUNTS


In the case of parallel actions discounts do not add.

Traveler confirming the reservation and paying the advance or the total amount confirms his consent to the conditions set out above.
