Local buses

Opatija has tree local bus lines named Red and White Camelia and Liburnia.  

Red and White Camelia lines cover Volosko, M. Tita and Nova cesta streets and are perfect to get around hilly Opatija and Volosko. Liburnia line will take you to the villages in the hills or in direction of Lovran where you can find wonderful beaches (Icici beach is among the largest on the Opatija Riviera, decorated by the Blue flag for clean sea and tidiness. Offers numerous facilities to its guests and is suitable for children and disabled).

Bus line no. 32 is connects the Opatija Riviera – from Rijeka via Preluk, Volosko and Opatija to Icici, Ika and Lovran. The orange buses with AUTOTROLEJ sign at the front of the bus will take you all the way to Lovran (beach Peharovo, also with Blue flag), Medveja and Moscenicka Draga which have most beautiful beaches on the Riviera.

Return ticket for 1 zone (to Icici, Ika or Volosko) is 15,50 kn (~ 2,20 €) and the return ticket to Rijeka or Moscenicka draga is 26 kn (~ 3,70 €) and can be bought at every kiosk. Tickets can also be bought in the bus but just for one direction and at a higher price. Check the time table here:
