Moscenicka Draga
Preluk
Situated in the vicinity of Opatija, in a sheltered bay where there are almost no waves. Here the wind tramontana blows, which - according to many windsurfers - is the best wind for surfing. Here windsurfing is practiced in early morning hours, with an enchanting view extending before you: views of Volosko, Ucka and the many enthusiasts racing on the sea.
During summer months and early fall best time to go windsurfing are mornings, from the sunrise until 8 am.
This is because of favorable wind tramontana which blows from the north.
