route 1 - MREZNICA "TURIST"
Description of your rafting experience:
When the water level is high the river will be category III and category II when it is low. You have the opportunity to enjoy the untouched parts of nature. The route is 15 km long, you pass 12 plaster stone barriers, and the trip lasts from 2 -3 hours and if the water level is low up to 5 hours. Transfer during the trip and a skipper in every boat are included in the price. Special gift for the group is a CD with photos as a souvenir of the trip.

Meeting point is in Duga Resa, a small town 8 km from Karlovac in direction to the National park Plitvice. Duga Resa is only 2 hours drive from Opatija. The starting place is 200 meters on foot from the meeting point. When the water level is high the river will be category III and category II when it is low. You have the opportunity to enjoy the untouched parts of nature. The route is 15 km long, you pass 12 plaster stone barriers, and the trip lasts from 2 -3 hours and if the water level is low up to 5 hours. The starting place is 1,5 hours drive from the meeting point. When the water level is high the river will be category III and IV or category II and III when it is low. You have the opportunity to enjoy the untouched parts of nature. The route is 22 km long, you pass 25 plaster stone barriers and the trip lasts from 5-6 hours and up to 7 hours if the water level is low and in summer when there are more frequent breaks for swimming and rest. Transfer during the trip and a skipper in every boat are included in the price. Special gift for the group is a CD with photos as a souvenir of the trip.

Mreznica river information – all you need to know
In only 5 km, there are 26 interesting travertine waterfalls. SuSnjar, with its 13 m is the highest waterfall on Mreznica. The fall surrounded a tiny, but deep lake between two cascades. On every side of the fall, blending into the landscape is one mill. Downstream from Susnjar, there are several smaller waterfalls. The ferry is used every day to reach the railroad station in Gornji Zvecaj. Also an interesting traffic object is a pontoon bridge, downstream from Puskarica fall.
