At the ranch „Vrelo“ take hourly rides, riding excursions, trekking and you can participate in the riding school.

The one or more hour outings start and finish at the Ranch “Vrelo” and can not last more than one day. Riders are guided over numerous trails in vicinity covering varied landscapes and pristine lakes.

Price: 100 kn / 15 € per hour.

20% discount is given on hourly outings to all those who have attended our riding school.

For those who like adventures there is the unforgettable conquest of the Gorski Kotar mountains with horses and mostly on horseback:

TREKKING

This unique activity meets the adventurous desires and allows the riders and horses to merge into this splendid scenery. The trekking is on Arab, Thoroughbred, Anglo-Arab and Akhal-Teke horses using English or Western style saddles. Trekking offers are of 1, 2, 3, 5 or 7 days. The daily routes are of 20 to 35 km or 4 to 7 hours, depending on the weather and terrene being covered.

The offer includes: horses with adequate tack, home made food, drinks (water, tea and schnapps) and overnight lodgings. Overnight arrangements are in tents by the fire, forest and mountain homes or private houses and include breakfast and dinner while lunch is eaten en route (lunch packet).

The riders are required to take: riding attire, raincoat, water flask, additional clothes and other items for personal use packed in separate baggage which will be taken along.

The trekking is in groups of 3 to 7 riders.
1-2 day tours are held throughout the whole season (15.04.-01.11)
3, 5 and 7 day tours are held in springtime (01.04.-01.07.) and in autumn (01.09.-01.11.)
Note: The maximum weight of the rider should not exceed 90 kg (otherwise special approval is required).

Basic riding course: getting to know and preparing the horse (leading, cleaning, saddling), work in the coral (mounting, saddle exercises, right posture, horse control, riding slowly and in trot. All activities are individual. Two students can participate in one hour.One hour lasts 50 minutes.
Price: 125 kn / 18 € + VAT

RIDING EXCURSIONS 

The basic riding course continues to riding excursions for the students that are ready and for all other riders. You will be riding through vinyards and along the river Mirna valley on the slopes of the town Motovun.
Price per person: 100 kn / 15 € + VAT

Whole-day excursion (2 – 4 persons) to Groznjan or Sipanovci for riders with basic riding skills and physical fitness. Start at 9 am and return at 7 pm. Two and half to three hours ride along the rover Mirna valley and hilly areas with short rests in one direction, rest, sightseeing of the town and lunch, return. Lunch not included in the price.

Price of a whole-day excursion per person: 540 kn / 75 € + VAT   

Two-days excursion for 2 – 4 decisive persons with good riding knowledge and in good physical shape. Departure at 9 am, riding along river Mirna to Buzet (about 2 and half hours), rest in the tavern Most, followed by a ride through hilly area, in the evening arrival to Kotle, dinner in a small restaurant with excellent home-made food, evening around camp-fire, sleeping in the sleeping bags. In case of a bad weather, sleeping in sleeping bags in a room with a fire place.

In the morning you wake up with the smell of freshly made coffee on the remains of the fire, watering the horses by the Mirna river and return to Motovun ranch. Rest in the tavern Most near Buzet. Horses are reliable and trained for field riding on McClellan saddles, all the necessary equipment we carry with us. In case of an emergency, help is available. Food is not included in the price.
