After driving the whole way, you would probably like to spend your Novalja holiday completely car free. This is entirely possible. Apart from diverse parking opportunities in Novalja, there is also very affordable and organized local Novalja bus and tourist train transport PARKING in Novalja

In Novalja center there are several parkplaces. Parking in Novalja center costs 10 kn (cca 1.5 €) per hour from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the summer and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in winter months. You can pay for parking in cash at the parking meter or via cellphone

Parking at Zrce beach costs 5 kn (cca 0.8 €) per hour, all day and all night.

There are also free parking spaces. These are the ones in front of your apartment. Most of private accomodation in Novalja offers include free parking place. Fill out the enquiry at the right side of your screen and get your own free parking space!

Local island bus transport in Novalja

Local island Novalja buses and a lovely tourist train represent the local transport in Novalja. Tourist train takes you from the center of Novalja to the auto-camp Strasko and back. If offers you a slow and enjoyable ride and it is a great way to see the town without walking much.

Somewhat faster is the Novalja bus line. The four stops of Novalja bus line include: bus station in the center of Novalja – Novalja central bus terminal – Zrce beach – Gajac beach. Zrce beach is a very popular party place, where beach parties and night festivals have became a tradition. Beach Gajac, with pebbles and shallow entry to the sea is perfect for a family vacation. Novalja bus time tables are visibly displayed at all the bus stations and in the tourist office you can gat all the extra information. The Novalja bus line drives every 20 minutes and the price of a ticket is 10 kn (1.5 €).
