Island Pag is rich in odder of sport activities in and on water. During summer there’s scooter rental on the town beach. Scooter ride is attractive and interesting, and completely harmless because Pag bay hasn’t any reefs or shallow parts that could enable the scooter ride. Research undertaken from 1998 to 2001 have shown that from 365 days of a year, there are 350 windy days on Pag. For surfers, Pag bay is paradise in the real sense of the word – safe place of pleasure and challenges that presents no risk. Pag bay is suitable and safe for diving, especially in shallower and middle parts of the bay. Sea streams aren’t strong, and there are no significant oscillations in the sea temperatures. Diving at the exit of Pag bay isn’t recommended because of the stronger stream, and there’s no shelter in case of the storm. Sightseeing of the bottom by the coast is a special adventure for everyone who tried diving because the underwater landscape is very interesting. There are numerous underwater niches, holes and caves are very interesting to the underwater photography lovers. Several diving clubs and diving schools are at work in Pag during summer. Underwater of Caska is also interesting to the divers, because on some places, in the mud some details of the sunken town can be seen. To the more experienced divers we recommend diving in the cove Slana, because the submarine is very attractive, interesting and filled with unusual, picturesque cliffs overgrown with high grass, small caves and one bigger and very beautiful cave in which you shouldn’t enter without an experiences diving guide. Fishing with the underwater gun while diving with oxygen isn’t allowed in Pag bay. To be able to dive you need to obtain appropriate dining licence issued by Harbour captain’s office in Pag.

Soon Kawasaki creates smaller more practical, mostly standing models that could reach up to 60 km/h. After that the Yamaha model appeared on the market and it went up to 50 km/h. jet skies have soon reached the length of 3 metres and they weighed more than 250 kilos. Today, jet skies develop speed faster than 140 km/h, which has made them very popular, besides recreation they are used for racing competitions all over the world.
European Jet Ski championship was founded in 1987 and it is one of the best series of speed races. Championship takes place regardless of the weather conditions. None of the races have been cancelled so far.

Mild climate, many craggy, deserted and green islands, over thousand of them, caves are ideal for successful development of the noble sailing sport that has source in love for the sea, and contents in joy and pleasure received from direct contact with the elements of nature. Sailing is an experience that gets us in touch with nature more than anything else. Many are attracted by the phenomena of water, wind, tide, and weather. Few people decide to take part in the game with the nature. Sailors are one of those people. Sailing teaches you cooperation with the winds, waves and tide. The goal isn’t to conquer nature or win, but to enjoy being a part of nature. Sailing involves all the senses more than any other sport. Reason for it is that the wind as the main motion power cannot be seen. You can only see the proof of its existence. While sailing, the eyes are an important decipherer.
