 Croatia's highways

Active Image

Zagreb – Split is a part of a traffic route between continental north western part of Croatia (Zagreb – Karlovac) and the north-Dalmatian region (Adriatic road route). In the grid of planed roads this highway completes and connects the link between two vital European routes: (E-59) Maribor – Zagreb – Split and  (E-65) Rijeka – Split – Dubrovnik. This highway connects north and south of Croatia and for many reasons it is from exceptional significance to the Republic of Croatia. It represents the strategic base for the development of the economy in the widest sense, from revival of business, especially tourism from acceptance to execution of the transit traffic.
