ZRCE

Pebbly beach
Beach Zrce is the most attractive and most beautiful beach in Novalja. If you love moving grooving beaches, welcome to Zrce . Beach it self is a wide band of pebbles without natural shade, sea is blurry because of the sandy bottom and the beach and local bars are very crowded. Zrce has a blue flag, which specifies clean sea, showers, toilets and lifeguard. At the beach are many different sports recreational and entertainment contents such as scooter rental, volleyball courts, toboggans and quality offer of food and beverages. Disco clubs Aquarius, Calypso and Papaya open day and night are also at the beach Zrce in Novalja.

CLEAN BEACH

If you came to Novalja by car you should absolutely visit Cista because it is all its name says and more. Relax with a view of the mountain Velebit and crystal clear sea underneath you. The beach Sveti duh (the Holy Ghost) offers pleasantly larger grains of sand at the beach but unpleasant bigger gravel in the sea.

CASKA

Situated east of Novalja, at the location of a former roman town, which was, as the legend goes, destroyed and sunk in an earthquake in 4th century. The remains can still be found near the beach and at the bottom of the sea. Access to the sea is sandy and the entrance to the sea is pebbly. The sea bottom descends very steeply which makes the cove sufficiently deep. Restaurants and cafes can be found along the beach, deck chair and parasol rental, and some recreational possibilities. Very popular with the local people it is also the only beach where parking is charged.

STRASKO

Pebbly beach
Beach Strasko with the camp of the same name is situates south of Novalja in a cove overlooking the open sea. It is about 1,5 km long, somewhat rockier than other beaches, and such is the entrance to the sea, but after few meters the sea bottom becomes sandy. By the beach there’s one of largest and naturally beautiful camps on the Adriatic with variety of food and beverages, sport, recreation and entertainment possibilities offered. The beach is very popular as it is in a beautiful pine forest with lots of natural shade. Since summer 2004 the beach has the blue flag.

SVETI DUH (HOLY GHOST)
