Slatina is the biggest beach in Opatija and one of the main cores of entertainment. But the clean sea and neat sunbathing area with easychairs, sunshades and showers are not the only things Slatina has to offer. When you get a bit tired from the waves and the sun, you can relax on the terrace of the Vongola restaurant or one of the coffee bars-you can choose between Gosser, Kremenko (Flintstone) and Batana.

The beach does not have sanitary facility for disabled people. Lifesaving equipment is placed in lifeguard towers. Lifeguards are on duty from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The town of Opatija is settled beneath the Nature Park "Ucka" and information about park and conduct of the behaviour in the park are available on the information board.

Access to the beach Opatija Lido is possible from the main road through two entrances. 4 out of 5 environmental education activites will be held on the beach and the rest will be held in Eco-School Primary school "Rikard Katalinc-Jeretov".

Apart from shower and toilette facilities, you can rent sunshades, deckchairs and sport equipment. Icici beach is a proud barer of blue flag, it is pebbly and concrete. This family beach is suitable for children and adapted for disabled people.

It's so easy to recognise it:it can be heard in the melody of voices and the rhythm of smashing the ball in a volleyball game. It can be seen in the sun reflections and the salty crystals on the suntanned skin. It smells on the sea, fruit cocktails and the sun creams.

Peharovo Peharovo, which is often called the beach at the very end of Lovran, is the beach that offers an additional peace and the feeling of intimacy to its visitors. On one side it dives into the crystal clear sea azure and on the other, upper side, it is sheltered by the thick greenness and the trees which, with their natural sunshade, offer incredible easiness of long staying at the beach.

Town is surrounded by thick forests and the pebbly beach long 2 km, ideal for swimming and games for the youngest. In the town are offered numerous sports and recreational activities, therefore we recommend Mošćenička Draga for a whole day entertainment.

The place is surrounded by dense vegetation and has a 2 km pebble beach ideal for small children. A well-equipped campsite is situated near Moscenicka Draga. Lovran, Opatija and Rijeka are close-by and are easily accessible. While anchoring your boat in the Moscenicka Draga harbor, care must be taken because of the strong winds.
